(rant) Spanish Translation on Hold and a Word of Encouragement

The Spanish translation is on hold for now because the two people that helped me struggling actually w/ the financial crisis in Spain and the rest of Europe.

So I would like to send my 2 cents of support to these two people, their country and all the rest of Europe. I feel myself particularly concerned since I'm from Europe originally and all that left of my family living in Europe too.

I hope that the heads of state will finally, at last, enforce a real and sustainable solution for you all and rapidly...

Take care.

  1. Hey there. I admit I haven't played your game but I'm always happy to support fellow Free Software Developers.

You should look into integrating with Transifex. It's a Free Software Translation service that will happily welcome Free Software devs. The community might be able to help out with the translation too :-)

Good luck to the Europeans, I didn't know about their financial crisis (Is this still related to Greece failing? Is it now hitting Spain? ). Ugh, I hope these issues are solved soon.

    1. Hi Nushio and thanks for the info. I heard about Transifex but never cared about until now since the two guys offered their help. But yup that could be a solution if the economy continue to goes badly.

About the crisis itself, Greece was only the tip of the iceberg. Bonds crisis in Spain and Italy goes really badly, and France isn't really in better shape than them, it's surely the next one on the recession list.

"Ugh, I hope these issues are solved soon. ", I hope too ;(

    1. You're welcome Alejandro. To cut the interest on governements debt would be the thing to do but I wonder if the central banks wait to let fire and blood spreading before to do really something...

      Don't give up!

  4. Spain is indeed in bad shapes, and when I read about viable plans in The World or in economic reviews about saving Europe, and nothing done since it *could* cost something to another richer country, I find it insulting to the people in the street yelling to keep their rights.
    Take care guys.

  7. Spain's problem is corruption. All solutions are applied for not fixing the problem.
In Spain there are 400,000 politicians, there more official cars than U.S. A 25% official unemployment, the real no one knows.
The future of Spain is a revolution or emigrate.

Thank you all for the support.

P.S. If you want to send something to translate, I'm available, I'm also unemployed, I have time.

  8. One can only hope we learn something from it all. Learn to discern between populist politicians promising the world, and proper statesmen actually trying to keep things rolling.

  9. This is curious I didn't know about this until the moment I read this article of yours over here. And there is also one thing which I would like to ask you. Do you own any helpful data on how to defend your blog articles from being used without you knowing it?
